To all those who, like me, got hit by the lovely weather this last week, I hope you are well and warm.  We managed to get through it fairly well, with only three days with no hot water. Might have been longer, but for my husband spending over three hours under the house installing heater cable to the pipes.  Six hours after that, the hot water taps started running again.

Literally, at once, since they had all been sitting open.

After midnight.

=l= Thankfully, we’re light sleepers.
