And we’re back. Thank you to those who sent well wishes. Our visit was shorter than planned, but thankfully, my grandfather was doing well enough by the time we were heading out that he was grumpy about having to stay in the hospital.
Okay, enough of the real world soap that is my life… back to your regularly scheduled comic.

As you can see, the expected page is not up. I have… one panel of it on my hard drive. I will try to work on it as I can, but the next few days are going to be spent traveling.
My grandfather is in the hospital, having gone in with congestive heart failure and kidney failure. Long story short, since Tuesday he’s improved, but he’s not out of the woods yet. Not unexpected for a man in his 90’s.
So tomorrow morning (Saturday), we are making the drive from Denver down to Ruston, Louisiana, to see him. If you have any wishes or prayers for me, let them be simply that it won’t be for the last time.
I should be back by either Wednesday or Thursday, and as I said, I hope I can work on this on the road.

The convention went great… until Sunday morning. Usually it takes a few days for the Con Crud to hit, but not this time. To those I met there, welcome, and thanks for stopping by the Squidworks table. I do hope to have more before the next convention hits.

That scrambling and scuttling sound you are hearing is me trying to make sure I’ve got everything I need for NanDesuKan, which starts today in Denver.
It’s also the day we’re celebrating my daughter’s 21st birthday, though the actual birth date isn’t until Monday. Maybe they’ll let it slide and let her have her first legal drink anyway at…

Back to the convention… If you’re attending NDK, as it’s commonly called, stop by the Squidworks table and say hello. I’ll be there most of Saturday at the very least, and a fair amount on Sunday. I’m also in a panel at 11pm Saturday night: Webcomics, Friend or Foe?
Should be interesting.
Okay, one last babble and I’m done, promise. Because I’ll be at a table, I wanted to have -something- for Eternal Flame. Not ready for books yet (there are some contrast issues, I’m finding), and no prints to sign (yet)… I had to have -something-…

At some point, probably Tuesday when I can breathe again, I’ll place an order for proper business card sized promo cards, but for now, these are only a little off in size… printed on 4×6 paper because I can get them cheap that way:
